INGREDIENTS
- 4 peaches or nectarines – sliced
- 2 tablespoons of sugar
- Red or white Terre Di San Vito wine – enough to cover the peaches!
INTRODUCTION
A dish loved by all Italians! Not only is this a delicious and refreshing end to a meal, it is so easy to prepare - you and your guests are going to love it. It can also be served in two ways – with white or red wine!
METHOD

Preparing the dish
- Wash the peaches
- Cut the peaches into slices and place in a bowl.
- Sprinkle the sugar over the peaches.
- Pour in the wine – enough to cover the peaches.

Cooking the dish
- Cover the bowl and place it in the fridge for 2 hours – if you can wait, 4 hours!
- Serve chilled in glasses.

Top tips:
- Either peaches or nectarines can be used
- Red or white wine – I can’t decide which one is my favourite!
- After eating the peaches – drink the wine!
